PROLOGUE
In a wild and uninhabited land the cats lived free and with an abundance of prey, fights rarely happened, they were divided between two large groups, those who were very good at hunting in mountainous lands and plains were known as hunters of the earth and the others who they were good at hunting the banks of the rivers and fishing were known as hunters of the water, and so they maintained harmony with each other.
But one day an old fox named Sabah, appears warning the cats that a monster was about to arrive in the valley to destroy everything they knew, and that they should look for a new place to live as soon as possible, but everyone despises her words and called her as crazy, and the two oldest hunters of each group expelled her from the great valley.
Little did they know what it would cost them, after 20 moons everything changes, when strange creatures invaded the lands and destroyed a large part of the forest where they lived to build a small village in the place. The prey soon becomes scarce and little by little some cats died of the spreading hunger, others were killed by the "monsters" called by them of two-legs, but everything got worse when the river where they fished became polluted, forcing the warriors who hunted there to go to the plains.
It didn't take long for the prey to run out, forcing the cats that still insisted on staying in the forest to fight over every bit of meat they found. Until a she-cat named Honey, following the advice of her mentor Meadow, decides to go look with a water hunter for the old fox that had warned them of what would happen in the past.
A few suns later they find her in a cave at the end of the valley, and ask for her help, at first Sabah refuses, but after hearing all the plight of the cats in the valley she offers to guide them to a new land, where they would no longer be hungry. They go back to the valley and warn everyone, but even with the elders being against it, they convince everyone to leave and look for a new place to live.
The group with the few cats left was been guided by the fox in long journey following the path of the rising sun, and during the time that the sun passed its peak they stopped to rest and hunt.
Four moons later at dawn they finally reach the new valley and the two cats that helped save the cats from hunger became their leaders, and both formed an agreement to avoid conflicts between them and divided the territory into two parts, one was with the forests to the north of the big stream and the other to the moorlands to the south. In honor of the sun that guided them on their way there, the leaders receive the suffix “sun” in their name and the first law of the valley was created to always meet every 15 suns in the secret valley to discuss the news of their clans .
More to come...
